1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a HandLit account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the service.
2. Service description
HandLit is an online point-of-sale (POS) software designed for merchants in Central and West Africa. It includes a mobile app (Android), web dashboard and API. The service is provided by Letservu.
3. Account creation
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activities carried out from your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions and payments
HandLit offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Payments are processed via CamPay (Mobile Money), Flutterwave or Paystack depending on your country. Prices are displayed in XAF for Cameroon, NGN for Nigeria, or USD for other markets. In case of non-payment, access to the service may be suspended after a 7-day grace period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: • Use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes. • Attempt to access other merchants' data. • Resell or sublicense the service without written authorization. • Introduce viruses or any malicious code. • Attempt to circumvent the service's security mechanisms.
6. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights related to the HandLit service (code, design, trademark, interface) belong to Letservu. Your sales and inventory data belongs to you.
7. Service availability
We aim for maximum availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary outages. The mobile app works offline — local data is always accessible even without internet.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Letservu shall not be liable for data loss, lost profits, or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 3 months.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of breach of these terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Yaoundé, Cameroon, unless otherwise required by law.
